Being a woman is super great, right? There’s being pretty, getting to wear a larger array of clothes, preppy nail arts, to-die-for makeup, quirky hairstyles, and the list goes on! We girls never get enough of ideas on how to spice up and enjoy life. Despite the drab periods and untimely hormonal imbalances, every effort we girls put into empowering ourselves and stepping up in the spotlight is something I’ll always be proud of.
As much as I want to tell the world that women are far more interesting than men, I have often come across a few gender issues that I believe are invisible monsters society have created over the years, and I have to say I’m fed up with gender stereotypes! I mean it sickens me every time a guy disrespects a woman as well as situations when a woman cheats on her man. It’s friggin’ messed up how the couple created by God has moved worlds apart on struggles over who is superior. Okay, sorry for that hormonal outburst. It was just recently I heard about a friend cheating on her guy and I just couldn’t let that issue go. I mean, c’mon ladies, you don’t have to cheat on your man to convince yourself you’re that pretty. Besides, cheating does nothing else but ruin your chances of finding the one. It may seem inevitable that guys will come at us while we’re on a relationship. However, as much as we like to further explore our male options, if given the situation that our present relationship presents a lot of uncertainties, cheating is not the right way. Ladies, if we wish to be respected let’s put in the effort of being respectable. Don’t jump into relationships when you’re not sure about the guy, or yourself.
Being a woman is awesome and I salute all the girls who know how much they’re worth. I have created a photo montage on my photo collections via WeHeartIt. It’s about the photos that uplift me personally as a woman. I hope you check it out and create your own dare to inspire photo collection too! Let’s continue to make the world a more colorful place to live in.
