While the rest of the Philippines is obsessed over the battle between AlDub and Pastillas Girl, I’m here all crunched up in my comfy mat watching Korean movies like there’s no tomorrow. I don’t really know what it is with Korean movies that I seriously couldn’t get enough of. As an on and off blogger since 2009 I know how hard it is to keep your momentum at blogging.
What really got me to blogging was that my brother kept on reading my diary so I thought I had nothing to hide from the world anymore. I started writing my heart out like an online diary not giving a damn if anybody cares enough to read them. Years passed and my view of blogging expanded. From a daily online diary, I realized that blogging is a great avenue for inspiration. I met bloggers who used blogging not only to share their personal hold ups the way I did but also ignite their passions, spread consciousness and enable change. They greet you with a smile despite getting another shift extension. They keep calm and steady during times of rattling emergencies so they can give you the best medical attention possible. They try their hardest to motivate you in your most depressing hospital stay despite having their own problems to cry about. They place themselves in danger to tend to the health needs of countries’ heroes. While you may always see them going around the hallway holding a bunch of medications and papers, and at some times not at all because they’re flocked all over someone else trying to revive them, sometimes nurses know how to chill and have fun too.
