I have seen this movie in over a month now. Still made me cry, so I decided to share this with you. Just in case you’re currently in a state of feeling like a nobody, like me, I figured this 12 minutes of yarn ball drama could kick your balls. Zero is a short clip created by Zealous Creative, and directed and written by Christopher Kezelos. It’s a story about a boy born a zero in a world of numbers. As we know in every corner of science, zero equals nothing, so in that society, Zero is considered a deviant, somebody you wouldn’t want to be caught dead with. Bullied by classmates, ignored when in need of help and denied a job, Zero never looked down on himself, let alone Life itself. He always found something to smile about. He never lost hope. He treated Life as a great something despite everybody else making him feel like nothing. He meets this female Zero and, well, two zeros when multiplied equals another zero, so their love was forbidden. Imagine that, denied of everything even love. How could that world be so cruel. Anyway, the rest of the story you have to watch yourself. Chill, it’s just 12 minutes of your time. 🙂
Sometimes people are just born different, if not “less than average” as society norms would put it. Sometimes you’ll feel weird. Sometimes you’ll feel ignored. That’s normal. I mean that happens to me too. And I thank God so much for keeping me together and for keeping me sane in spirit. Moments like these when I feel so unimportant, He never failed to remind me that I’m His daughter and that no matter how people seem to make me feel less, He’ll always be there for me. Nobody reached the pinnacle without a few stumbling blocks. Nobody made it after a battle without a few bruises. But everybody who reached the pinnacle and everybody who made it after a battle is made whole and definitely a lot more stronger.
That’s how I stumbled upon this video yet again.
This time I made sure I post this so you guys could feel inspired too.
Living for a purpose is not something we’re born into but something we realize over the years. I hope we all figure out our calling along the way. Pray hard. He’ll lead you there. I wish you all the best.
Bible quote of the day:
“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” –2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Nothing CAN be something,
