One of the perks of unemployment is having a 7-day long weekend and not worry about Mondays because you have time on a leash. However, since I’m quite a busybody trying to push myself into schedules and deadlines, I still look forward to Fridays. Cheers to a productive week everyone! This week I had my fair share of a stressful week. After lazily going through my life during my short hiatus from hospital life, this week certainly slapped me back into action. Recently I have been juggling stuff trying hard to be as productive as I can, setting goals and pushing myself to become better at things I should already be good at this age. I am my own life coach and the pressure I constantly give myself is just something I needed to tone down from time to time. Spirited Away has premiered over a decade ago, has been on everyone’s top lists of Anime Movies to Watch Before You Die, and I wonder why I suddenly thought of watching it just now.
It’s all the levels of awesome I must say. Probably the reason why I was drawn to watching this movie was because I was losing my zest for life at the moment, all my numerous interests all down the drain, and I blame my period. I wasn’t able to sleep well last night and I was having headaches. I sneezed a lot and you know, just the general feeling of being dead inside. I wonder what it was but after watching this movie, I felt like the heavy energy that kept me down all day was uplifted. [Read more…]
