May has been a roller coaster ride for me in terms of my passion, or what I usually call my Mojo. The week started with me juggling a bunch of stuff, making the most of my freedom before classes begin. Suddenly, I felt as if I have drained all my creative juices on everything I have been doing.
For a week, I haven’t updated my blog and social media. I loved loved loved lying on bed and doing nothing but scour the internet and watch series, like I just went through eight hours of hard labor.
So much for a Garfield week, I had no idea whether to slap myself for wasting time or give myself a pass for burnout. I felt unproductive and really, really bummed out.
Worst of all, I got fat. haha!
Whatever. Looking at the mirror one day got me the jolt I needed. Now I feel more energized than ever! I gotta get back on my pre-Garfield routine, make time count.
You know, maybe it was okay for me to experience this kind of dilemma. It makes me feel that I’m human and a break is needed from time to time in order to recharge my mojo and make it more powerful than ever.
Besides, there are also things to learn about in doing nothing. Pathetic as it sounds but it’s true. As long as you eventually get back on your feet and relish life with passion.
