Having recently released myself from the introvert prison I locked myself in, I’ve been gradually getting social online and I’m lovin’ every bit of it! I have learned that you can literally talk to anybody online and not wait forever for people to start talking to you. Though some may respond like robots (not caring much about anything else but self-promotion), most of them would be polite enough to engage in a meaningful conversation with you, and those kind of bloggers, I admire the most.
To all my fellow bloggers who have engaged in short but meaningful conversations with me these past months, thank you so much! You’ve helped me gain confidence in pursuing my writing passion and in expanding my realm of friends.
Now I haven’t tried Link Ups before, but there’s a first time for everything, right? When I stumbled upon Heleneinbetween and read about what I needed to share with the community, I immediately jumped into action. I felt like I needed to introduce myself more to the world as if it requires me to do so, and now here are a few things you probably didn’t know about me.
I love raping the repeat button to Justin Timberlake’s Like I Love You music video whenever I feel a little frisky. Gahd. He used to be hotter when he dressed up like a stoner.
I am a recovering pessimist who almost succumbed to depression, ready to love the world for what it is, hoping to spread a gleam of gratitude and a positive outlook on life.
At home I wear my hair in a bun and prance all around with only my shirt and undies. Oh the comforts of being alone and free at home, no one to judge you or even stare at you.
I’m a home buddy. I hate going out but once I’m out I don’t ever want to go home. It’s insane.
I’m such a business-minded person to the point that sometimes I charge for household chores, but nobody ever pays me.
I dream of having Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell for celebrity parents.
I like getting high on music. A lot of indie electronic sounds to be specific.
I believe in the power of foresight in dreams. I believe in the afterlife, in angels and faeries and aliens. I believe in destiny and magic.
I secretly loved Math back in high school. Until I realized I won’t be able to make use of most of it after graduation.
I love giving out love advices! I’ve been in a lot of shitty relationships before that I feel obliged to teach my friends some relationship psychology I’ve learned from experience. It’s awesome. It just feels like I’m giving advices to my younger naive hopeless romantic self.
That’s it! I have just bared myself out in the open there.
I really hope I didn’t freak you out haha!
I hope you can relate to some of these too. Tell me about it!
And kindly join the Link Up party too and give others a clue about what people don’t know about you. (Nailed the rhyme!)
